Are you talking about the version of the ALSA plugin for XMMS, or the actual version of ALSA-drivers/lib/utils? If it's the latter, I don't think 0.5.x is supported any more. Only the 0.9 series works with the later 2.4 kernels. Oh, also, I have the ALSA drivers installed, but I use OSS output for XMMS. Since ALSA's API is a moving target right now, and I like my programs to work, I currently use OSS emulation for anything. -- #ozone/algorithm <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - trust.in.love.to.save -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
