Hi Scott, Hmmm that didn't work.
added the append="mem=96M" to the bottom of lilo.conf and ran lilo. also rebooted. still 64mb (as reported by free) there is also another append= line in lilo.conf. i added a ; to the end of the append= line and put in mem=96M" and closed the quotes. eg append="compaq_irq=11;mem=96M" ran lilo, rebooted, still 64Mb.
