Why son't you gunzip(uncompress) the *.gz file and then view the pdf in Acrobat or ghostview or xpdf. But pdf.gz & html seem to be the main streams for Linux document. I use ghostview to see xxx.pdf.gz .It makes me feel (on account of printing) I have to gunzip & send to Acrobat's pdf-viewer for printing. But 1. I cant gunzip xxx.pdf.gz (gunzip said it's not a gzip-file) 2.
