Geoff does run a LPIC study group at Granville TAFE on Monday and Wednesday. This is definitely worth going to I have never learned so much. The two qualifications LPIC is by nature a little more cross distro but the rest is exactly the same. see the training from slug.org.au and the TAFE link for information.
