I've just bought a copy of CodeWeavers Wine for myself at work. Had a
slight problem with adding MSOffice via a samba shared drive, but the
tech support people were very responsive via email and quickly sorted
that out.

I've only used Word, so far, but it worked fine. More impressive than
running Word, however, was seeing it actually install itself into what
it thought was a Windows box, via CW Wine. Mind boggling.

The reason I mention it is that one of the listed supported
applications is Lotus Notes.

CW Wine is about US$55. Running speed seems fine. Why not give it a
try? See http://www.codeweavers.com/home/

Might help with other lingering Windows issues, too.
