I'm a little confused -- why are you trying to transfer the image to the computer? If you've got a network, why not boot from a install floppy thing and do a network install? That way you're only transferring the stuff you want to install. IIRC there's an images directory somewhere on the Red Hat CD that has disk images suitable for doing this. Other than that I can only assume that Red Hat is trying to install itself into unpartitioned disk space, of which it sounds like there is none. I can't remember how the installer works, but are you doing manual partitioning and telling it where to install?
