Mandrake 8.2. Xcdroast 0.98 alpha 9. The drive is a Samsung combo drive, SM316. Audio CD's appear to be no problem. But if I put a data cd in there to copy, it says it is empty.
Obviously, I can see the files on the CD just fine in anything else; eg Krusader. My previous CD burner, a Mitsumi 2 speed, had the same problem. But I'm getting tired of re-booting to windoze just to copy a CD. I suppose I could rip an ISO image of the CD from the command line, but it seems rather pointless when xcdroast has this nice little "Duplicate CD" button.
