[SLUG] ADSL jungle

Hi guys,

I've finally decided to get an ADSL connection.

My preference would be to get an multiport ethernet adsl router (like the D-Link DSL-504 so I can use it from multiple computers without having any one box continuously running.
Of course I'd like to use the service with linux.

I'd be looking at a 256k 1G plan, maybe even 512k.

Question 1: which provider? Any recommendations?

Question 2: can linux handle the DSL-504? Or are there more suitable devices to use?

Question 3: Are there any 'ADSL+Linux in Australia' sites to read up on this around?
