Please read up on www.gnu.org on how open source really works, it is not centralised at all so you cannot look for a 'controller' or coordinator, this really is a huge undertaking. Perhaps you might want to post a set of questions here, we are all involved in a lesser or greater extent. www.everythinglinux.com.au is one company that does support Linux commercially if that is what you need.
