[SLUG] Autorepeat broken after suspend

I'm running RH8.0 on an IBM Thinkpad T21.

I can suspend the machine with X running, and everything is fine when I resume ... except for the keyboard autorepeat which no longer works, and the mouse becomes prone to take a single click as a double click.

Simply exiting X and restarting it makes the problems go away. If I switch to another TTY, autorepeat is working fine - back in X land, it's still not working.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know if/how it can be fixed?
