It won't do it (well, not now, I left my crystal ball at home unfortunately), but you can get pdfs from OOo right now - print to postscript and then use ps2pdf to do the conversion. You can probably make it even niftier with some zany scripts that hook into lpr or something, but I've never had the patience to try.
