Hi guys I'm looking into setting up a samba PDC. I've got a help file that I'm working through. It mentioned adjusting users using vipw. So I've been trying to do that. I've found the vim documentation on my system and I've been reading through it, taking a few notes etc. However it seems like a bit of a pain to use. Would I be able to use an editor like kate to add or modify entries in etc/passwd?
