I made a new enquiry on the weekend and have got a response/quote. Quote said to ask tech support if the thing would work in the 8500. Tech support said yes. KL-C840 - 5M751 (Truemobile (TM) 1150 MiniPCI Card $63 Freight $14 GST $7.70 Total $84.70 Not too ugly.
