Hi everyone, The SLUG meeting is on tomorrow night. Please note the changed rooms (see below) - we were unable to get any of the standard rooms for SLUG this month.
Because of these changes, we could not get a room for SLUGlets this month with an LCD projector. If anyone can help by bringing either an LCD data projector or a large(ish) panel/monitor to the meeting, please email [EMAIL PROTECTED] and let us know. Also, it has been brought to our attention that this meeting marks SLUG's 10th anniversary - So Happy Birthday SLUG! Congratulations and Thank You to the hundreds of people who have contributed over the last 10 years to make SLUG a great community and a fun place to hang out! To celebrate, we're looking to put up photos from SLUG's history in the gallery on the website - if you have any photographs that you would like to share, please let us know (again, at [EMAIL PROTECTED]). Also, we'd love it if someone could bring a camera tomorrow and grab a few shots of the 10th anniversary meeting. Cheers, Jan. PS, SLUGlets this month will be featuring Ken Caldwell demonstrating his Debian based easy-install CDs, as well as the usual random SLUGlets shenanigans :) <quote who="Jan Schmidt"> > Sydney Linux Users' Group Monthly meeting: September 2003 > > When: Friday, September 26, 6:30pm - 9:30pm > Where: UTS Broadway (http://www.slug.org.au/events/uts.html) > > SLUG's monthly meeting, featuring general talks, special interest > talks and SLUGlets. > > *** NOTE *** > Please note the change in rooms this month > > Open to the public and free of charge.
