Dear Lyle, Best way to debug CUPS is as following: 1. Set "LogLevel debug" or debug2 in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf 2. Restart cups. # /etc/init.d/cupsys restart 3. In a terminal # tail -f /var/log/cups/error_log 4. Print something and the cup's logs will make it very clear where it's all going wrong or stalling.
