Just a quick question for those that may have stumbled across this in the past :)

I have a 2Gb PCMCIA Hard Disk Drive that I would like to be able access under Linux, I want to use it for Still Picture storage and sharring between Linux and windows!

The challange is how to get it avaliable so that I can use it under slackware?

IIRC you just need the PCMCIA/IDE modules. Either compile the PCMCIA source or use a recent kernel which should have the required code already.

My old tosh 2gb PCMCIA HDD worked fine with both my laptop (linux) and my ipaq (linux).
