Come One Come All. Good Morning Sluggers. A perfect opportunity for those of you remaining in this beautiful city of ours over the long weekend to lend a hand to a worthy cause.
Like something akin to a force of nature Computerbank's Work for the Dole helpers have been in a seeming dismantling frenzy, now that they have finally be reigned in there is a rather large amount of parts and cases and bits and pieces that require sorting so they can either be stored or sent off to MRI for recycling to raise some much needed funds for Computerbank. This is where Computerbank requires your help. All types of hardware experience greatly appreciated and even if you don't have any but want to get some come along and we'll put you in teh care of someone who knows what they are doing and hopefully they can impart some knowledge your way. If you're interested in coming along please see the end of the email for details. There's been some discussion on the list recently of such wonders as Xinerama and the like well you too can expereince the wonder that is multiple montiors and help out every Sluggers favourite charity at the same time. We currently have more monitors than we know what to do with so we're putting them up for sale. there will be power and working machines so you'll be able to test them out yourself. Plenty of brands and styles to choose from both analog and digital and 14 and 15in. Will probably be one price fits all but it won't be expensive. If you've got any other questions be sure to email me or call me. so come along and expand your desktop space whilst expanding Computerbank's ability to do it's work. OK now to all teh details you've been waiting for Date: Sunday 25th Jan 2004 (this sunday) Time: 10am - 4pm (maybe a little later) Location: Unit 32, 195 Prospect Highway Seven Hills (opposite seven Hills Public School and Lucas road) N.B Being a sunday it's likely the gate will be closed to the complex ring me on 0422 123 510 to gain admittance.
