Yesterday I did an apt-get upgrade and glibc got upgraded. The problem is now gone. The problem has existed for quite a while and now for the first time I have got the database aplication working on my laptop. Thanks for the feedback gus. In a way its a shame that it got fixed. It would have been nice to track it down with SLUG help. -- Michael Lake Chemistry, Materials & Forensic Science, UTS Ph: 9514 1724 Fx: 9514 1460 UTS CRICOS Provider Code: 00099F DISCLAIMER ======================================================================== This email message and any accompanying attachments may contain confidential information.
