Following up on my previous email, I've managed to control thee font
sizes of Gnome-responsive apps, while using KDE, by loading the Gnome
Panel (hence having both Gnome and KDE panel running), then killing
Gnome panel. Strangely, if I then execute Thunderbird and FireFox again
via the KDE panel, they retain the Gnome font settings (i.e. correct
size).Similarly, once Gnome Panel has been loaded and killed, GFtp then
runs under KDE with correct size fonts.
All of which thoroughly confuses me - where do they get there font sizes
from ?
This still leaves me with other apps like Sweep, which display tiny
fonts under any screen manager. Are such apps controllable ?
regards
Rod
