Are you after a vector notation arrow, perhaps? that can easily be done with \overrightarrow{Text Under Arrow}. I'm fairly sure that will also extend over superscripts and subscripts, and you can put an arrow over just the su{b,per}script portion, if that's what you want. I've never dealt with (or seen) the @>>> and @<<< notation before, so it could be that you're after something totally different -- in which case, give a descriptive example or something and I'm sure someone will be able to tell you how to do it. - Matt
