I'm running Simply-Mepis 3 updated from Debian repository.
I want to build a kernel to include Chris Pascoe's driver patch for DVB-TV(
Connexant chip - in my case Dvico Fusion HDTV card).
The 2.6 Kernel build how-to I'm using says that I require isdn4k-utils and
nfs-utils but they don't appear in the listing in Synaptic.
I have Googled to no avail - unless I'm not using the correct terms.
Are they included in some other .deb, or are they available from a
repository other than the main Debian repository?
Are they in fact necessary as I don't have an isdn connection nor do I have
an nfs server?
Also, is there a pre-built kernel with this patch available anywhere?
