I'm willing to create a single image which I can use to make multiple
installations of my current GNU/Linux operating system. So that's why
plan to do:

# bzip2 -lc < /dev/hda > mysys.bz2

So I should be getting the entire content of the disk (which will be
partitionless, and I'll use a file as swap if needed) into mysys.bz2.

I'm then wondering a way to do the same with the disk MBR. I don't
want to have to go through a live cd and install Lilo for every
"instance" I spawn. Any ideas on how to do it?
