Thanks for that information. Plainly, your experience has been different
from others I've read about. It certainly would be easiest to deal
directly with Palm.
In the meantime, I just felt that I had to do something, since I was
reduced to adding information to and removing it from my handheld only
via J-Pilot.
Dick Smith had a new Palm Z22 handheld for $175, so I bought one of
them. It's basic, but then so are my needs. I've already migrated all my
information from the old handheld to the new and got it syncing ok via
J-Pilot.
Now I'll be able to wait till the new year and contact Palm then.
