Hi all, I'm looking for as many suggestions as possible on where we can hold SIGs in the future.
I rang the JSBH about getting the boardroom out back for DebSIG, and they now want to charge $300 for its use. I think we'll have to avoid JSBH for the time being. Cohibar's lighting is a bit muted, there's no projector which sucks for talks, and the music's too loud. That, and they're a bit non-commital about letting us use the room upstairs. Things we need in a venue: - seating for up to 25 in a room - no (or minimal) venue charge - reasonably priced food + drinks The end goal is to find a place that we can build up a rapport with and reuse for all our SIGs. I'd also like to kickstart a Red Hat SIG (RedSIG?) in the next month if there's enough interest. Thoughts?
