Seems that the Vista launch at Hardly Normals has already happened. at midnight last-night.

Caught part of the Ch 7 11AM news which showed the countdown at a HN store with Gerry Harvey spruiking their deal with M$.

Showed some IT student buying (the only oz copy?) the Bill Gates autographed version of Vista - expect to see it on EBay before long.

Interestingly, later in the News they had a longer segment on the US co "Geeks on Call" who'll install your new TV, fix your PC and Software etc. Bet their business soars with Vista, as will HN's Support and Upgrade section.

Looking at the prices of the various Full and Upgrade versions of Vista, and knowing that its unlikely to run on my 4 PCs ans 1 laptop (which is the "newest" at 14 months old) you'd have to be better off buying a new PC/laptop with Vista installed so that you could demand that it be fixed if (when?) there are problems.
