I've asked this before, but lost the information. I'd like to turn a couple of long-playing (ie., vinyl) disks into CDs.
This will involve taking the signalfrom the record player, sampling it and then removing the clicks/pops/hiss (if any) before burning the CD. Has anyone who has done this any preferences? Audacity comes to mind, but I have a feeling there are others. Any suggestions will be looked at carefully.
