Here is the error message: (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//neomagic_drv.so (II) Module neomagic: vendor="X.Org Foundation" compiled for 6.99.99.904, module version = 1.0.0 Module class: X.Org Video Driver ABI class: X.Org Video Driver, version 0.8 (EE) module ABI major version (0) doesn't match the server's version (1) (II) UnloadModule: "neomagic" (II) Unloading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//neomagic_drv.so (EE) Failed to load module "neomagic" (module requirement mismatch, 0) Now my laptop is an old IBM Thinkpad 570. I am not sure what to do about this and would appreciate any help or ideas. I am quite happy running Fedora, but would like to be happy running Ubuntu as well. -- Nick Urbanik RHCE http://nicku.org [EMAIL PROTECTED] GPG: 7FFA CDC7 5A77 0558 DC7A 790A 16DF EC5B BB9D 2C24 ID: BB9D2C24
