I am able to steam live audio just fine on Ubuntu and using vlc
firefox plugin.  For the cron, I suppose you would direct vlc to the
streaming link and somehow output it.  I notice that they also have
podcasts, so I would check those first to see if the show is not
posted online within a few hours...
