SLUG will be having an end-of-year party on the 13th of December at the James Squire Brewhouse[0] (lower deck) on King Street Wharf. People will be rocking up from 13.00, and partying through to around 18.00. People are free to drop in any time. Everyone is invited, including partners and children. Every parent of a child 11 years or younger having a main meal and a James Squire Beer is eligible to receive a kid's meal for free. The aim of the afternoon to be laid-back and have fun! No geeky presentations, just friendly banter :) Directions from Wynyard trains station to the Squire can be found here[1]. We'll see you there! Also of interest on that day is a mass-rally at the Sydney Town Hall against the federal Government's plans to censor the Internet[2].
