VLC 0.9.4 has a bug on my Ubuntu 8.10 install. When playing a .ts file from an NFS share it restarts the video playback at what I'm guessing is the 4GiB mark. (the total file size is around 5.5GiB) mplayer does not have this problem, but has other issues which lead me to prefer VLC.
How do I work out if a bug report needs to be filed?
