Hi Bill On my machine they are under here: /usr/local/texlive/2008/texmf-dist/bibtex/ Under here is: bib/apacite beebe/apa.bst beebe/apalike2.bst
At CTAN http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/biblio/bibtex/contrib/apacite/ there is the apacite.pdf that explains how to use it and what the output should be like. Hope the above helps a bit.
