Hi all,

Following my presentation on Friday night I was
asked about how I'd created some of the images in
my presentation. For those who have seen (and will
see) the presentation, of particular interest was
how I'd managed to create the image wherein the
frame is skewed to provide an impression of depth
along with a reflection. The application is called:

http://photobatch.stani.be/

This caused me to think that maybe we should also
make space for short, five minute presentations on
simple applications (or on a cunningly clever
option in a more complicated application) at some
point during the SLUG meetings. This would provide
an opportunity for those who have something they'd
like to present or demonstrate but which doesn't
require a long, more detailed presentation.

It could be a good way of allowing a greater range
of people an opportunity to more actively
participate and demonstrate their skills and
knowledge with the added benefit that we would all
get a little bit extra, yet again, from the meetings.

Thought I'd run it up the flag pole and see who
salutes it :))

Regards,

P
