Provided the stream is in the correct format, VLC can subscribe to it. Fire up VLC on your PC, select "Open Network Stream", and enter the required fields - protocol type (the version I have supports http, https, mms, ftp, rtsp, rtp, udp & rtmp), address and port, and away you should go.
