On that tangent, does anybody know what IPv6 RTSP implementations are
out there?

VLC and MPlayer only support RTSP over IPv4 (they both use the live555
libraries). Every now and then I read about an RTSP security camera that
allegedly supports IPv6 -- surely they would have had to have a client
reference implentation to test against.

From looking at [0], it looks like the Feng RTSP server supports Vorbis.
Unfortunately the number clients that support Vorbis over RTSP is
rather...low (GStreamer being perhaps the most notable supporter). And I
can't tell whether Feng supports IPv6 or not.
