-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I have been trying to get enlightenment working as a desktop on ubuntu 11.04. I can get most things working but I can't seem to get it to connect to my ADSL 2+ router/modem. I am using wireless networking and all works perfectly with gnome but when I switch to e17 I get no connection. I tried using wicd and set up the WPA2 Key but it says "bad password". When I return to the gnome desktop wicd connects easily so I know the encryption key is correct.
I seem to have missed something. Any clues would help. I can get NetworkManager to run under e17 but can't get it to connect as it does not have a presence on the e desktop. (Aside: I can run e17 under unity but it is based on Mandriva and when I install it I can't get the grub boot manager to run it as an alternative with my other versions (Ubuntu 11.04 and Debian 6). Also note that Debian 6 does not work with my network card.)
