I have some basic experience on the sysadmin side of linux, but I feel I'm
still pretty greenhorn. Hope you guys don't mind.

I have lots of catching up to do :-(

Oh and I've RSVP-ed. See you guys!

Welcome to SLMG. SLMG=Singapore Linux Meetup Group, SLMG is an informal
gathering of linux and FLOSS enthusiasts.

There is no registration required, or fees to pay. Anyone keen on
participating or listening can walk in. We are trying to keep it free and
fun. If you wish you can register at http://linux.meetup.com/5/ and
indicate
whether you plan to attend. Which will help the organizers ( Darrel Chua)
plan for space or food / drinks (if any)

Usually there is one talk on a technical topic, some discussions followed
by
some socializing and some folks go off for beers and dinner. None of us
sing
karaoke so you can walk in without fear ;-)

This month's talk is on IPTables firewalls by Jeff.

Regards
Anand
