I have a potential freelance project for someone who is an experienced
Linux embedded C developer (with the possibility of ongoing work).
If you can meet all of the following requirements, then please give us a
shout.
* are a contractor who is able to work on a short-term freelance project
- and are available now
* experienced with POSIX/Linux network daemon programming in C
* familiar with Linux serial communications programming, setting baud
rates, non-blocking access, etc.
* experience with writing fork based multi-process or multi-threaded
daemons and using synchronisation primitives such as semaphores/mutexes
* prefer experience with writing single process asynchronous code using
state machines and fully non-blocking IO
* experience using cross-compilers for arm or other platforms
* experience with Java also a benefit
