I'm using Singnet mobile broadband, I dialup via *99# and I did not
put any init string. I think for Starhub it's *99# too, only M1 is
*99***1#

I'm not sure which mobile phone you are using, for my Sony Erisson
it's /dev/ttyACM0


btw do check out internet sharing on you mobile phone, it might be
even easier to connect to internet
