On a related note, does anyone here face irritation when accessing
www.uob.com.sg and www.ocbc.com.sg?
These two sites would load until a certain point, then does not progress
(progress bar does not move, status stuck at "waiting for site" or
"transferring data..." while the tab still indicates loading). i would
then click refresh and it would go slightly further and hit another
obstacle, and i repeat the same thing. Only after a few refreshes does
the page finish loading.
i just keep thinking what kind of programming bad practice could have
resulted in such behaviour, but could not think of any based on my
(limited) knowledge of HTML and such.

I just filed a complaint with LTA (not really expecting any action, apart from
