On F9 with patches (dunno which patch since I always update), the
network manager have a new entry "GSM modem" which auto connects. I
guess ubuntu will have the same thing

however not sure what happen to my system, most E220 doesn't work on
my system. Only 1 works. But they do work on my colleagues' F9, and I
don't have time to troubleshoot why (and too lazy since I use mobile
phone)
