Hi Guys, i-POP requires a senior and highly experienced Systems Administrator to help manage a small team of System Admin personnel supporting its existing data centres (in Singapore, Manila, Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh City) plus scope for planned expansion across the region.
Responsibilities: Plan and budget for the purchase of relevant systems as the business & capacity requirement grows Maintain and improve resilience of current hardware set up (in excess of 20 servers I am told) Allow for smooth roll out of new and upgraded software applications Develop and potentially code customised back up & system monitoring modules Work inter-departmentally to support wide area & remote application implementation Establish best practice QA and version control procedures Target for guaranteed uptime based on specific SLA's Deliver cutting edge virtualisation solutions to optimise performance Reporting to CEO/EVP and working closely with Product Director, this role is deemed key to i-POP's future success. You will preferably have many years of similar ICT experience -- and ideally in a Telco setting. Hands-on knowledge of Blade servers and VMWare is beneficial.
