Hi Michael and everybody,

I wouldn't mind to meet up and talk casually on things perl related.
I even know how to do 3 things in perl, namely:
* using mod_perl, Apache::ASP and DBI/MySQL to build perl web
applications
* writing web services in perl using Net::Server and XML RPC
* LDAP batch directory maintenance using Net::LDAP
That's pretty varied! Are you a sysadmin?
I'm holding off learning python until it gets curly braces and
forgets about whitespace...
I love the huge "discussion" this sentence kicked off :-P. Of course,
TMTOWTDI - and one of those ways involves leading whitespace as block
delimiters; whatever floats your boat. My biggest worry used to be
whether tabs/spaces would translate properly across multiple operating
systems/editors/coders who liked to convert tabs to spaces and vice
versa. But there's more than enough cross-platform Python code now
that I must be wrong.
So my learning Python is now only waiting until I have a goodly number
of tuits to spend on it.
BTW - Please announce your meeting on slugnet once you have a date.
Will do!
cheers,
Gaurav
