i do agree that synergy has more "ability" but what i like about x2x is
that it doesn't require much to get it up and running i.e.
- download the package
- install package on the remote machine
- ssh to the remote machine enabling X11 forwarding and you're done,
something like "ssh -X <IP-ADDRESS> x2x -east -to :0"
