That's HSBC. DBS consumer internet banking works fine with almost all browsers. It needs java to run an applet that encrypts the PIN using RSA (so at no time does the bank know your password, only their HSM box do). And its fast. Only problem is that at night a lot of operations cannot be accessed (probably running End Of Day batches). DBS enterprise banking though will probably never run on open source browsers as it relies extensively on IE-only javascript extensions (they're using some old non-standard XML-RPC stuff). Same goes for OCBC enterprise banking (it's the exact same web-app product as DBS). VisualWeb (the company licensing this software to DBS and OCBC) just does not care about web standards obviously. Hope this helps, Take care, Fabrice. -- Fabrice A.
