Hello
My christmas present was a really nice little media player called the
Western Digital WD-TV. After a bit of digging I found that this actually
a Linux-based device.

My Issue: The first firmware update is in what I gather from just
reading the file with a hex editor , "compressed romfs". I would like to
mount this firmware file on loopback if possible. If not possible ,
anyone know how to rip apart this firmware?
My ultimate, rather lofty goal would be to get a shell via a usb WiFi
connector.
Cheers
Stephan
