hey guys, do you use anything else besides sar? Any particular
recommendations, tips, etc (sar or not)?
sar is good, but people like pretty graphs :) So there's always Cacti
and Munin to give you those as well.
Ya if you use cacti, you can enabled 'snmpd' on your boxes to collect
cpu, memory, disk stats.

I'm not sure how the stats compares to sar (it may even use sar underneath).
