Hi,

Here's a quick update on the activities planned for Software Freedom Day
Singapore (SFDS).  We are calling for local community's contribution and
participation, be it time, networks or resources.  You can also help us by
spreading news on SFDS and the events.
Official site is http://www.softwarefreedomday.sg

This year, we are planning 3 separate events, targeting at 3 different user
groups.

Fri 18 Sep 09 @ National Library - Business Seminar for SME (Small Medium
Enterprise)
Sat 19 Sep 09 @ National Library - Public Exhibition and Demo
Sat 19 Sep 09 @ SMU - Technical Workshops and Tutorials

Friday business seminar is coming up nicely and speaker slots almost all filled
up.  It is free for SME but limited to first 100 registrants.  For the Sat
Public Exhibition, we are still needing more ideas, people and resources.  Last
but not least, we are seeking speakers and topics for Sat Technical
workshops.

If you, your company or organization can contribute, you can either go to the
main organizer site http://www.fosa.sg or contact our team directly:
Kang Ghee Keong (Sat 19 Sep - Public Exhibition)
Email: [email protected]

Mike Veltman (Sat 19 Sep - Technical Talk)
Email: [email protected]

You can also reach me at Email: [email protected]

Any help will be appreciated and do remember to help publicize the events.

Thanks and best regards,
Darrel Chua
