Curious though, how are you flying? I've not yet found tickets that
are that cheap :)
I have seen Qantas and Emirates prices that cheap before but that was
without airport taxes and fees and these airlines both fly to NZ via
Australia. Aussie airport taxes and fees for 2 arrivals and 2 departures
are on the high side e.g add another SG$400 on top.
I'd expect it to be more like $1400 or even higher since it is high
season (especially if you take Singapore Airlines).
BTW Singapore Airlines is the only airline that flies direct from
Singapore to NZ - unfortunately Air NZ dropped its direct flights
to/from Singapore.
