Meaning you want to share your 3g on your Linux machine?  That is
rather straightforward.

If you are running Gnome, you should look at this:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/ConnectionSharing

it is a tad bit dated (refers to Fedora 10 in 2008), but the functionality
is now really slick.  NetworkManager is available on all distributions -
not only Fedora.
