This version of their OSD sounds interesting. If it includes
over-the-air HD decoding, I would be very interested (I'm not
interested in getting a set-top-box from Starhub or from stores just
to receive Mediacorp's HD5 channel).

OSD3 Overview

The OSD3 is intended as an open set top box that allows users to view
internet based media content using their home media center as well as
capture media content and record it for later playback. The OSD3 seeks
to merge the capabilities of the popular OSD1 platform with the Neuros
LINK to provide a full high definition solution while remaining open
for customization. Neuros believes that you should be in control of
your own media content and is creating the OSD3 to give you that
control.

The OSD3 will be based on the next generation digital media processor
from Texas Instruments. This processor is a System on Chip (SoC)
processor that integrates many components required for digital media
as well as a high speed ARM based GPP running Linux.
